Default Question about Enchanting mod on weapons

Hi

I am a bit confused about the "Enchantments last X% longer" weapon mods.
GuildWiki says:
The weapon upgrade of Enchanting provides the following bonus:
* Enchantments cast by the wielder last 10-20% longer.

The upgrade is suggested for many builds, for example this one:
E/Mo Air Support Caster: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/E/Mo_Air_Support_Caster

But this build does not have a single enchantment spell
So whats the point? The bonus also applies to enchantments others cast on you? Or am I missing something?

In general, enchantment mods are very useful, as they extend the positive effects of enchantments for "free". In the case you site, Ether prodigy is indeed an enchantment. The mod will give you an extra 3-4 sec. of energy regen, which can be very helpful and also reduce the negative effects of the spell by making it end less often. Hope this helps.
